ILO Warning: 2.5 Crore people lost their Job due to Coronavirus globally

The International Labor Organization (ILO) has warned that an outbreak of the Coronavirus could lead to a worldwide economic crisis and the jobs of about 25 million people could be lost if governments do not take fast steps. More than 2 Lakh people worldwide are affected by Coronavirus.

The outbreak of coronavirus is increasing in the world. Now the International Labor Organization (ILO) has warned that this could lead to the worldwide economic crisis and if governments do not take any effective steps quickly, then jobs of about 25 million people can be lost.

The ILO said on Wednesday, “The epidemic of coronavirus COVID-19 could trigger a global economic crisis and the jobs of around 25 million people lost their job worldwide if the governments do not take swift steps”.

 

However, the ILO also said, “Unemployment can be reduced if international policy steps are taken in a coordinated manner as it did during the 2008–09 recession.”

The International Labor Organization (ILO) has called for immediate, large-scale coordinated measures to protect workers at workplaces, boost the economy and encourage jobs and income.

 

“Worldwide Cases crossed over 2 lakh people from Coronavirus”

Significantly, the whole world is frightened by the havoc of Corona. More than 2 lakh people worldwide are vulnerable to Corona, while 8,953 people have died. News agency PTI quoted AFP as saying that a total of 475 people died in Italy on Wednesday. This is the largest death toll in the world from Corona in one day.

In Italy, 2,978 people have died in from Coronavirus. More than half of the deaths in the world outside of China have occurred in Italy. While the total number of infected people has reached 35,713. Earlier on Sunday, 368 people died in Italy.
