On the appeal of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to donate to deal with Coronavirus, the corporate world has opened its treasury. Life Insurance Corporation of India has given Rs 105 crore in PM-CARES Fund. Noted an Indian billionaire businessman Nagavara Ramarao Narayan Murthy has also pledged to put Rs 10 crore to deal with Corona, though he will not donate to the PM-CARESFund.
Infosys founder N.R. Narayan Murthy and his family have pledged Rs 10 crore from their personal funds to the “Akshaya Patra” Foundation to help in relief work from Coronavirus outbreak. This fund will be spent on feeding and providing essential goods to migrant laborers and daily wage earners, who have lost their livelihood and are in great distress.
It is worth noting that through the “Akshaya Patra Foundation”, food and everyday essentials are being provided to the migrant laborers and the daily earners. With the help of the Murthy family, more than 55 lakh packets of food will be provided to the poor trapped in the lockdown. This help will be done in cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Pune, Mathura and Hyderabad.
LIC Donate a Huge Amount
Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC) has donated 105 crores to the PM-Cares Fund to combat the coronavirus epidemic. Real-estate Industry DLF Donate 5 Crore

In addition, DLF is feeding over 60,000 migrant laborers in Gurugram and Manesar. DLF Foundation has also taken the services of “Akshaya Patra” for the distribution of cooked food.
