Holi is a festival of colors. But do you know that Holi is also a scientifically important festival? Now you must be wondering how we can tell you that scientists say that different colors used in Holi work like a therapy.

As per research, expert says that different colors keep the body and mind balanced and colors also boost your brain. At present, color therapy, which eliminates diseases, is also part of this quality. While in Egypt and China, it has been used as a treatment since ancient times.


  • Red Color

This color is of a warm nature. Therefore, it is considered better for the treatment of pain. It promotes adrenaline hormone. It provides relief in insomnia, weakness, and blood-related diseases. Apart from this, every color is mixed with the color of nature and makes the eyes relaxed. The body increases immunity while keeping hormones balanced.


  • Yellow Color

Yellow color strengthens the nervous system with mental stimulation. It also gives strength to the muscles along with the stomach and skin. Apart from this, the yellow color is beneficial in cases of stomach upset and itching.


  • Blue Color

This color is considered a cool color and helps reduce high blood pressure. In color therapy, it is used in the treatment of headache, swelling, cold, and cough.


  • Orange Color

The Orange color makes the lungs strong by increasing excitement. Hence orange color proves useful in cases of asthma, bronchitis and kidney infection.

This festival is celebrated on the full moon of Phalgun (hindi month). Many stories are associated with Holi. Holi is lit one night before celebrating Holi.

Holi is such a colorful festival, which people of every religion celebrate with full enthusiasm and fun. This festival decorated with love-filled colors gives the message of brotherhood, opening the bonds of every religion, sect, and caste. On this day, all the people forget their old grievances and hug and enslave a couple. Children and youth play with colors.
