The Mumtaj Mahal

The Taj Mahal, known all over the world as a token of love, tells the story of the immortal love of Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan and Mumtaz. Shah Jahan built the fort of white marble for his Begum Mumtaz, popularly known as the Taj Mahal. The tomb of the emperor and his begum remains in the Taj Mahal.

 

The Story of Prithviraj Chauhan

The history of Rajputs is full of history. Prithviraj Chauhan was one of them. King Prithviraj of the Chauhan dynasty fell in love with Samyukta, the daughter of King Jayachand of Kannauj. When Jaichand came to know about this, he became very angry and organized the Samyukta of Samyukta.

In this swayamvara (marriage) he summoned many princes but Jayachand did not invite Prithviraj and erected an effigy of him outside his court and stood as a concierge. When she asked Samyukta to put the Varmala, she left all the princes present in that assembly and went to the door and garlanded the effigy of Prithviraj. Prithviraj was already present behind that effigy and in front of everyone he took away Samyukta with him.

 

Love Story of Malwa’s King Bajbahadur

The love saga of Raja Bajbahadur of Malwa state of Madhya Pradesh still resonates in the forts here. Out on the hunt, the king fell in love with an ordinary woman Roopmati. Not caring for the world, Bajbahadur married Roopmati and accepted her as his wife.

 

The Story of Maratha Warrior Bajirao

After the film was made on the love story of Marathi warrior Bajirao, the attention of the people came to his amazing love story. Bajirao fell in love with Mastani, the daughter of Raja Chhatrasal of Bundelkhand. However, their marriage was not recognized by society. But till the end of life, their breath was tied to each other.

 

The Love Story of King Bimbisara

The love stories of the mighty kings of India are also amazing. One such love story is that of King Bimbisara. It is said that King Bimbisara fell in love with the most beautiful dancer in the state. Bimbisara, who was wounded during the war, was served by Amrapali as an ordinary soldier and the king married her, fascinated as a dancer.
