According to the new education policy, now the right to education of children from 3 years to 18 years of law. The HRD Ministry has been renamed as Ministry of Education following the recommendation of the Ministry of Human Resources and Development. This decision was taken on Thursday in a cabinet meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi.
With this, the Modi government has also approved the new education policy. It will replace the 1986 education policy. After the approval of the education policy, now there will be only one regulatory body for the entire higher education sector so that the dislocation in the education sector can be eliminated.

On completion of one year of studies, certificate and diploma certificate will be given on two years of studies. The new policy was approved in the cabinet meeting chaired by Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Union Human Resource Development Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ has said that our new education policy is coming, it will solve many of these things. In the education policy, the government has said to promote higher education. With this, it will be much easier for the youth to take higher education than before.
What is 5 + 3 + 3 + 4 Education System ?
According to the new education policy, now children from 3 years to 18 years will be brought under the Right to Education Act, 2009. The new education policy will also emphasize storytelling, theater, group reading, display of pictures, writing skills, language and mathematics. Under this new education policy, the meaning of education in the country will be changed. This will not only provide new education opportunities to the youth but will also make it easier to get employment.
The first three years children will take pre-schooling education in Anganwadi. Then in the next two years, children in class one and two will study in school. A new curriculum will be prepared for these five years of study. The focus will be largely on activity-based learning. It will cover children between three and eight years of age. In this way, the first five years of studies will be completed.
In this phase, classes three to five will be studied. During this time, children will be taught science, mathematics, arts etc. through experiments. Children between eight and 11 years of age will be covered in it.
It will cover classes 6-8 and will cover children between 11-14 years of age. These classes will be taught subject-based courses. Skill development courses will also be started in class six.
Classes nine to 12 will be taught in two phases, in which subjects will be studied in depth. There will also be the freedom to choose subjects.
Employment Education from sixth grade
Dr. Kasturirangan, who is heading the committee formed to finalize the new education policy, said that now the children will be given professional and skill education from class VI. Internships will also be conducted at the local level. Emphasis will be laid on vocational education and skill development. The new education policy will not create unemployment. In school, the child will be given the necessary professional education.
10th and 12th board exams will be easy
Major changes will be made in the board exams of class X and X. The importance of board examinations will be minimized. There are several important suggestions. Such as conducting examinations twice a year, dividing them into two parts objective and explanatory categories.
UGC, NCTE and AICTE to end; Regulatory body to be formed
The era of UGC AICTE is over. Higher Education Secretary Amit Khare said that UGC, AICTE, NCTE will be a regulator in higher education. The process of affiliation with universities will be completely abolished in 15 years by giving colleges autonomy (Graded Otonami).
Students will be given the opportunity to choose Sanskrit as an option at all levels of school and higher education. The tri-language formula will also include this option. Accordingly, no language will be imposed on any student. Korean, Thai, French, German, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian languages will be offered at the secondary level.
