Navdeep Saini has been selected in the team for the two-match Test series to be played against New Zealand. Saini has played five ODIs and 10 T20 matches for India so far.
Team India’s young fast bowler Navdeep Saini is quite happy to represent the country at the top level. Their focus is only on playing well and winning more and more matches for the team.
Saini said in a conversation with teammate Mohammad Shami on BCCI.com, ‘I am very happy to play at the top level. Like any other player, playing for the country was my dream which came true. I just want to continue my good performance’.
Navdeep Saini has played five ODIs and 10 T20 matches for India so far, in which he has taken five and 13 wickets respectively. Saini has also been selected in the team for the two-match Test series to be played against New Zealand.
In this conversation, Saini also told that he likes to talk in Punjabi. The right-arm fast bowler said, ‘I am very innocent at heart. When it comes to language, I feel comfortable in Punjabi. I like to talk to my Indian team players in Punjabi’.
When asked how he helps the exploited children? To this, Saini said, ‘I try to help them in every possible way. I give them financial help like I have given kits to two-three children so far. I have seen similar situations in my childhood, so I am aware of the difficulty.
