Mahendra Singh Dhoni Ready for IPL 2020, Reached Chennai For Training

Chennai Super Kings captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni has reached Chennai for the 13th season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). 38-year-old Dhoni will start training at Chennai’s MAA Chidambaram Stadium with other players from Monday.

The IPL 2020 will begin on March 29. The first match will be between Chennai Super Kings and defending champions Mumbai Indians in Mumbai. Dhoni will be training with teammates Suresh Raina, Ambati Rayudu and other players till March 19.

He will take a break before the IPL starts and then return. Chennai Super Kings on Sunday tweeted a picture of the World Cup-winning captain arriving in the city. ‘Thala‘ Dhoni has also made Chennai Super Kings the most successful team in IPL history.

Let us know that Dhoni is away from cricket after the defeat at the hands of New Zealand in the ICC World Cup. Since then many speculations are being made about his retirement. However, there has been no official confirmation about this. Mahendra Singh Dhoni played his last ODI on July 9, 2019.
