CoronaVirus: Indians Stranded on a Ship in Japan Will Return Today

Indian nationals stranded on a cruise in Japan will be brought back on Wednesday. The Indian Embassy in Tokyo said that only those Indians in this chartered aircraft would be able to travel without any signs of the corona.

There are a total of 138 Indians on this Diamond Princess Cruise off the coast of Japan and 16 people have been found suffering from corona so far.

While giving this information in a tweet, the mission said that the health of all these people is better than before. The embassy has also clarified that only those Indians on the Diamond Princess cruise will be brought in, and the Coronavirus(COVID-19) is negative in their tests. That means at least 122 Indians are being brought back. There were about 3700 people aboard this cruise, out of which about one thousand people are left and the rest have been allowed to go.

As per the report, 4 people on the cruise have died due to coronavirus. The cruise arrived here on February 3 and since then these people are staying in the same tourist ship. The embassy said that an email advisory has been sent to them in this regard. Of these 138 Indians, six passengers and 132 people are crew members.

 

The Number of Dead Exceeds 2,700 in China

With the death of 52 people due to coronavirus infection in China, the death toll reached 2,715. The number of confirmed cases of the virus has reached 78,064. Although the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19) is decreasing.

The National Health Commission said that 52 deaths have been reported from Hubei and 406 new cases of coronavirus (COVID-19) have been reported across the country. The Commission said that on Tuesday, 439 new suspected cases were detected, although the number of serious cases decreased by 374, now the number of such cases has come down to 8,752. A total of 29,745 people were discharged from hospitals after improving health.

A US soldier stationed in South Korea has been found infected with the coronavirus. The commanders gave this information on Wednesday. This is the first case of an American soldier being hit by a coronavirus. US Forces Korea said in a statement that the soldier was stationed at Camp Carroll, 30 kilometers north of Daegu, the most affected city of Coronavirus in South Korea.
